General Notes
The products used in making a camera strap can become damaged or wear with age and should be checked on a regular basis. Any sign of wear or damage should be assessed carefully and if you think it could fail then stop using it and return it for possible repair. Replacement split rings and Chicago screws can be purchased cheaply should they become worn or lost. If the leather has been cut or split then the strap has reached the end of its life.
The life of leather can be extended by treatment with a good beeswax/oil based leather conditioner. This will keep the leather supple and prevent splitting.
Brass and copper components can be polished using dry Brasso. Just put some liquid Brasso on a cloth and let it dry, then carefully polish the brass or copper to a bright finish avoiding contamination of the surrounding leather.
I can’t be held liable for any failure if the item has not had sufficient care and has not been used within its design parameters.
If you are unsure if the strap you are considering is suitable for your equipment, then please contact me first and I can suggest either custom made, or other standard items that are suitable.
Returns
I try very hard to make products of the highest quality that will offer years of enjoyable service. However, if you are not satisfied with your camera strap please contact me at info@gogb.co to arrange a return for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt, provided it’s returned to me in an unused condition and in the original packaging.
Returns are only accepted from UK customers. Export sales are final except in the case of defects. Any custom or personalised items are final and cannot be returned unless faulty.
All returned items must be in a new, unused condition, together with the original packaging. Altered, damaged or obviously used items will not be accepted and returned without being refunded.
All goods are to be returned carriage paid. I would recommend using a tracked service. I cannot be held liable or accept any responsibility for any returns lost or damaged in transit. Refund of the full purchase price will be through the same method as the payment was made. Postage and packaging will not be refunded.
Payment
We accept payment via PayPal.
The goods will not be delivered until paid in full.
Order Notes
Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Sterling. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers.
Delivery
All items are made to order and usually take 5-7 days to complete. If there is going to be a delay you will be notified. All items are sent using a signed for service. International orders will be sent tracked and signed where possible although not all countries offer a tracking service.
